Revolver Scope Base Adapter Rail for Super Redhawk Revolver A revolver scope base adapter rail in stainless silver finish for Super Redhawk that has two ring notch cuts on top of the frame. The adapter rail clamps onto the ring notch cuts and allows use of weaver style scope rings and also will mount red dot sights with weaver style mount. No drilling is needed. The rail has 14 ring slots which make it easier to set up eye relief and find more desired placement of scopes or red dot sights on top of the revolver. It also has a see-thru opening that might allow use of iron sights depending on the type of scope or sight installed. Machined from extruded aluminum alloy. Mounting screws are included with the unit. Does NOT include scope rings Rail type: weaver Number of ring slots: 14 Overall length: 6 ” Finish: Anodized matte stainless silver Weight: 3.2oz * When mounting the rail onto the revolver, let the cantilever end pointing toward the rear sight and align the mounting screws to the ring notch cuts on top of the barrel. Also be sure the roll pin inserts into the recess next to ring notch and rests against the front wall of the recess. Check alignment of the rail to the center line of barrel before tightening the clamping screws. Use blue Loctite on the screw threads and check the screws often and be sure they stay tightened when using. * Always be sure to unload the chambers and practice safe gun handling when mounting the rail * The rail fits only Super Redhawk models that has ring notch cuts on the frame. Will NOT fit Redhawk models
